Michael joined Walker Morris in 1995 and was appointed as a partner in May 2003.

He advises on a full range of commercial law issues. His prime focus is supporting private organisations (plcs, private companies and large partnerships) and in particular in-house legal departments and he has spent extended secondments with several private sector clients including Kelda Group plc (formerly Yorkshire Water Plc).

Michael’s main focus is in complex contractual arrangements. He has particular expertise in advising both the providers and purchasers of outsourcing services and also has considerable experience in joint venture and partnership arrangements, framework agreements and information technology matters (including systems development, integration and IT applications).

He is also an expert in public and private tendering including invitations to tender, technical and operational specifications, tender submissions and responses to tender and has developed a number of standard tender protocols with clients.
