Paul joined Walker Morris in 1991 after six years with City firm Slaughter and May and became a partner in 1993.

Paul has a great deal of experience in mergers and acquisitions, both public and private. Paul is recognised for his wealth of experience and his eye for detail on all facets of mergers and acquisitions.

Previous transactions on which Paul has worked include the £100 million acquisition of Yates Group PLC by Global Innovation Partners and the £69.9 million acquisition of Cattles Commercial Finance Limited by Close Brothers Group Limited. Paul has reputation as a leading corporate adviser has continued to grow.

More recently Paul has acted on: a right issue for Cattles plc to raise £200million; advised Leeds Building Society on a £2billion European Medium Note Program; acted for Parques Reunidos S.A.U. on the acquisition of Grant Leisure Group Limited for £10.4 million and advised Evolution Securities Limited on a tender offer for shares by Lincat Group plc for £13million.
