Debbie Jackson

Debbie joined Walker Morris in 1996 and was appointed partner in May 2004. She has a great deal of experience of advising quoted and unquoted companies, institutional and private individuals on a wide range of transactions, both public and private. Debbie is recognised for her hands-on commercially focused approach and dedication to client service. Debbie has spent time on secondment with the merchant banking arm of a large banking organisation providing corporate finance advice, equity funding and acquisition finance on a variety of transactions, and was nominated for Corporate Lawyer of the Year in the Yorkshire Insider Dealmaker Awards 2008.

Debbie's recent transactions include acting for: management on the 3i backed £100 million buy-out of Uponor UK Limited, the UK's leading manufacturer of thermoplastic pipe systems for the gas, water and telecommunications industries; Endless and management on the £12.5 million sale of the fitted furniture specialists Neville Johnson Group via a management buy-out supported by Key Capital Partners; Endless on its first investment from its new fund in the niche printing and packaging firm, St Neots Packaging; and Aberdeen Asset Manager's Private Equity on their £7 million investment in Huddersfield-based FMG Support, the UK's leading independent fleet performance company. Debbie was involved in acting for the management team on the sale of Castlebeck by HG Capital for £250 million, and she advised the management team on the sale of Rosemont Pharmaceuticals for $176 million. Debbie also led the Walker Morris team in advising BIL Gaming on its £30 million acquisition of the historic Clermont Club Casino from Rank Group.

Debbie is a member of the Walker Morris China Trade Group, the Walker Morris Chemicals & Lifesciences Group and the Waste and Energy Group.
