Simon joined Walker Morris as a partner in August 2000 having previously been a partner at the Eversheds office in Manchester, where he was head of Construction. Simon is recognised as a leader in his field and deals with all aspects of contentious and non-contentious work acting for leading developers, contractors, sub-contractors and lenders. In respect of the contentious work he recently acted for Hurst Stores in the successful defence of Meryl Lynch`s appeal to the Court of Appeal on the issue of Final Statements in Construction Management contracts. He has acted in over 50 adjudications ranging from £10,000 to £2 million. On the college side he acts for over 30 colleges in their campus redevelopments with a total procurement value of over £600 million.
