Louise trained at Walker Morris, qualifying in 1993. Over the last 15 years Louise has built up a specialist practice dealing with all areas of property litigation. Louise acts for a number of house builders and developers but also has experience in claims involving applications to register Town and Village Greens, rights to light, the enforceability of restrictive covenants and disputes over other potential easements.

Her work for large banking and building society clients has enabled Louise to specialise in the prosecution and defence of claims of professional negligence in relation to solicitors and surveyors. Additionally she has experience of investigating advisors and brokers in relation to cases of mortgage fraud. Louise has had recent success in the Courts in relation to claims of a fraudulently obtained mortgage, which involved successful applications for worldwide freezing and third party disclosure orders.

Louise is the only Solicitor in England and Wales who has received an endorsement from the House Builders Federation to provide accredited training to the building industry in matters relating to the Property Misdescriptions Act 1991. Louise regularly provides training to her building and development clients and adopts a pragmatic, prevention is better than cure, approach.
