Sue has worked at Walker Morris since 1994. She specialises in High Court construction, engineering and commercial litigation disputes, including professional negligence and contractual disputes. Sue has also been involved in adjudication work including enforcement of decisions and a number of mediations.

Sue has been involved in a number of high profile/high value cases including:

• Multiplex Constructions UK Ltd v Cleveland Bridge (UK) Ltd [2] (repudiatory breach issues arising from the construction of bowl and iconic arch at Wembley National Stadium)
• Trac Time Controls Ltd v Moss Plastic Parts Ltd and Others [3] (product liability)
• Kenburgh Investments Ltd v David Yablon Minton Ellis [4] (solicitors' negligence) and Court of Appeal judgment [5] (preliminary issue re a previous settlement with directors and whether this prevented a liquidator from pursuing proceedings relating out of the same contractual transaction against the company’s solicitors)
• Northern Foods Plc v Focal Foods Ltd [6] (preliminary issue on terms of the contract for the supply of onions, successful in the Court of Appeal)
• Cleveland Bridge UK Ltd v Yarm Road Ltd v Hewden Tower Cranes Ltd [7] (preliminary issue relating to the interpretation of the Model Conditions of the Construction Plant-hire Association)
