Banking & Finance, Restructuring & Insolvency
Claire is a Partner in our Restructuring & Insolvency Team. She advises on all aspects of restructuring and corporate insolvency – in connection with debt and equity restructurings, turnarounds, all forms of formal insolvency processes, acquisitions and disposals of distressed businesses, and directors’ duties advice.
In addition to this, Claire provides lenders with advice relating to security enhancement and prioritisation, and non-performing loans.
Claire also provides advice to pension trustees and employers in connection with finance matters connected to defined benefit schemes including formal restructurings, mitigation and contingency arrangements.
Coming up with solutions to often complex problems which need to be solved in a time critical manner is an enormously rewarding part of Claire’s job. She says, “I always aim to deliver excellent client service and go the extra mile. I want to become my client’s trusted adviser”.
Navigating complex documents and situations to come up with commercial solutions is second nature to Claire, whose clients know they can rely on her for advice that is both clear and helpful.
Describing one of her strengths as working well as part of a team, Claire says she sees developing strong working relationships with clients as a key priority.
Providing time critical advice to underperforming businesses in times of uncertainty and distress is challenging, but Claire understands that her clients need calm, measured and thorough advice to help them navigate these turbulent times.
