Lucy is a Senior Associate specialising in construction and engineering law, both contentious and non-contentious. However, Lucy is primarily involved and is particularly skilled in non-contentious work. Lucy has extensive experience negotiating various forms of building contracts, as well as drafting suites of all types of construction documents. She has experience of construction disputes in adjudication and court proceedings and regularly provides pre-action advice to clients and during the implementation of contracts (including JCT and NEC contracts).

Lucy’s clients are typically commercial developers operating nationally, contractors, sub-contractors and professional consultants across a range of sectors and schools/clients in the education sector.

Lucy’s excellent communication skills mean she’s developed some really strong client relationships and she takes a proactive approach to her role, making sure clients really benefit from her technical and commercial skills. Lucy describes her working style as “polite and professional at all times whilst being robust and calm under pressure to provide a high quality commercial service to each client”.  

Lucy is regularly involved in the delivery of training/know-how sessions for clients. She is also currently co-Captain of the Walker Morris netball team.
