Michael is a Partner in our Corporate Group, known for his responsive and high quality legal advice on complex cross-border M&A and venture capital transactions.

Michael’s work is usually mainstream corporate M&A, private equity M&A and venture capital transactions, as well as providing general advice to corporate clients.  “I’m passionate about helping clients bring complex transactions to fruition”, he says, “whether that’s advising venture capital or private equity funds or assisting emerging companies to successfully secure the capital they need to grow”.

Michael has a particular interest in the technology sector and notes that sometimes this involves businesses that are light on physical assets, so require a nuanced approach to due diligence and deal execution.  His deep understanding of commercial contracts, licences and the intellectual property rights underpinning such business models make Michael well positioned for this work.
