Our annual in-house training day saw the attendance of over 30 senior General Counsel and in-house lawyers, which this year focused on the topic of overcoming obstacles blocking international growth and trade.
Following the event, we have published our ‘Keeping Trade Moving’ report which summarises key points and topics from the event’s interviews, presentations and our panel discussion with several internal and external international trade experts.
Speaking on the current biggest risks to business growth and the current feeling of instability regarding the international business area, discussions were conducted between David Parkin (Director, COPA Events), Merisa Lee Gimpel (Director, Head of Trade Innovation, Lloyds Bank), Frank McDonald (Professor of International Business, University of Leeds), Stuart Wallace (Chief Operating Officer, Forth Ports) and James Crayton (Head of Commercial, Walker Morris).
