Meet the Block Management team
Karl Anders has nearly 30 years’ experience advising clients in relation to all aspects of residential landlord and tenant law, with a particular focus on long leasehold and block management. Karl is a Partner and head of our team of housing management specialists. Karl is a member of The Lettings Industry Council and has also advised UK Finance in relation to residential leasehold matters.
Pawan Pandit is a Senior Associate, specialising in long residential leasehold and property management issues, together with associated litigation in the residential property tribunal and upper tribunal. Pawan is experienced in advising on residential service charges, administration charges, variation of long residential leases, section 20 consultation and dispensation, breach of covenant and forfeiture, enfranchisement and proceedings in the residential property tribunal. Pawan’s experience has been gained from working as a property litigator in London, both in private practice and also in-house, at a leading property management business. Pawan therefore has good understanding of the issues facing his landlord, managing agent, RTM and leaseholder clients.
Asia Munir is a Senior Associate experienced in handling a broad spectrum of residential landlord and tenant matters. In relation to block management, Asia has acted for a wide portfolio of clients in relation to both contentious and also non-contentious advisory matters. Asia has a particular focus in advising clients in relation to the Building Safety Act 2022.
Olena Jarockyj is a Senior Associate specialising in residential property litigation work, including block management. Olena has significant experience advising lenders in relation to long lease forfeiture matters, having previously acted for landlords and managing agents. Olena has also advised Local Authority and ALMO clients in relation to implementing block management policies/procedures, as well as claims handling in relation to all aspects of residential property management.
