Lauren is an Associate in our Banking & Finance team. With 5 years of experience, Lauren works on acquisition finance, asset-based lending, real estate finance and development finance. Her experience includes acting for both borrowers and lenders, so she’s able to offer well-rounded commercial and comprehensive advice to her clients.

Lauren is committed to getting the deal done and being a trusted advisor for the client. She understands that her clients are looking for a lawyer who understands their business, which is why offering tailored legal advice, according to their needs, and delivering commercially is a key strength. Lauren is not fazed by working to a tight timeline as she is highly organised and accessible.

Project managing various parties to ensure delivery of completion is a must in Lauren’s role. This requires organisation and good communication which Lauren demonstrates in her working style being diligent, fast paced and a team player.

Lauren exudes the firm’s values in her work by taking the bull by the horns to get things done, taking advantage that two heads are better than one and she never loses sight of the bigger picture. By doing so she is positive and enterprising in her approach.

Lauren studied at the University of Leeds where the academic study of Banking law peaked her interest. From there she sought out banking legal roles to bolster her experience before securing a training contract at another Leeds law firm before joining Walker Morris (WM) upon qualification. Since joining WM Lauren has become a NQ Committee rep.
