Claire is a Director in our Construction & Engineering team. She has over 20 years’ experience dealing with complex construction and engineering disputes both in the UK and internationally. She’s worked both in house and in private practice which has given Claire a keen sense of commercial awareness in addition to her legal expertise.

Claire has specialist expertise in cladding claims acting for asset owners/developers and energy and infrastructure projects working predominately for main contractors. Her experience also covers all forms of dispute resolution, including High Court proceedings in the Technology and Construction Court, Arbitration, Adjudication and Alternative Dispute Resolution.

She’s known for her clear and pragmatic advice on complex construction matters and delivering within tight deadlines. Claire’s work covers, payment disputes, extension of time claims, variation claims, defective works, defective design, breach of warranty claims and termination claims.

Claire typically acts for asset owners/developers, consultants and contractors throughout the supply chain operating in a variety of sectors. She has significant expertise in large construction disputes and has worked as a key lawyer on a number of significant high-billing instructions. This included a case in the energy sector relating to renewable energy projects involving complex legal and technical issues.

Claire is part of the Building Safety Act Knowledge Group and Adjudication Society.
