Freya is an Associate in our Pensions team. She advises employers and trustees of defined benefit pension arrangements, giving advice on general pensions queries, as well as matters such as scheme amendments, equalisation issues and winding up.

Freya also works on corporate transactions, carrying out due diligence and providing advice for both UK and international based clients who are buying or selling companies with associated pension schemes in the UK.

Pensions law is constantly evolving, and this means every day there is a new challenge to deal with or question to be answered. Freya enjoys getting involved in the complexity of these issues, and helping clients obtain a successful outcome.

Freya is approachable and personable, she enjoys getting involved in writing materials and presenting at training events, as well as presenting at the Pension Team’s breakfast briefings for our clients and other pensions professionals.

Freya studied Classics at the University of Nottingham, where she was also a successful rower, and completed her law conversion and post-graduate legal practice course at BPP University in Leeds.
