Walker Morris wins Tax Law Team of the Year in national awards

The Tax Team at Walker Morris has been announced as the winner of the Finance Monthly Tax – Law Firm of the Year UK 2017 Award.

The award comes at the end of a successful year for the Team during which they won a number of new clients and advised on some notable deals. In particular this year the Team advised on the PE-backed management buy-out of PAW Structures and also continued demonstrate its extensive experience in the football industry, having advised on the sale of Bradford City football Club to ER Sports Group GmbH.

The Team has also continued to invest in specialist expertise with the appointment of Nicola Parkinson as senior associate.  Nicola is a dual qualified solicitor and Chartered Tax Advisor and has broad experience having worked both in accountancy practices and law firms.

Finance Monthly conducts one Tax based awards per year in which over 15,278 votes were cast.  The judging was based not only on the number of votes received by nominated firms but also work activity over the last 12 months, expertise and innovation, client care and recognition.
