Walker Morris is proud to announce that it has become a member of NOTICED, the UK’s first inter-firm diversity network, reinforcing the Firm’s ongoing commitment to create and foster an inclusive and diverse workforce.
NOTICED aims to promote networking opportunities to integrate, celebrate and educate on diversity across the legal sector. NOTICED believes that diversity and inclusion add value to an organisation in attracting and retaining the very best talent, fostering innovation and meeting the needs of diverse clients in today’s global environment. The NOTICED network is open to both lawyers, in law firms and in-house, and those engage in business services in the legal profession.
Walker Morris are delighted to have joined five other new member firms, who all aim to further the network’s activities for 2021 and onwards on the important issues of ethnic diversity and multiculturalism in the profession.
NOTICED co-chair Sid Shukla, and steering committee member Nic Patmore jointly commented:
“It is great to see so much enthusiasm from an excellent range of firms who are keen to contribute to the activities of NOTICED. We think it is really important that firms take a coordinated approach when dealing with diversity-related issues which affect the industry.
“The fact the network now has just under 20 contributing firms is excellent. We look forward to finalising the 2021 agenda with the existing and new member firms shortly.”
Sandip Singh, Director at Walker Morris added:
“We are delighted to announce we have become members of the NOTICED network. NOTICED is vital in promoting networking opportunities to integrate and educate on diversity across the legal sector. We are looking forward to working with NOTICED and the other member firms so that we can continue to attract and retain the best talent and ensure that everyone can bring their true and best self to work every day.”
Walker Morris is committed to seek out and retaining talented and motivated individuals and to treat all people with respect and dignity.
