Energy performance of buildings: New methodologies published

Housebuilders/developers should be aware that the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities has published two notices of approval setting out the calculation methodologies for expressing and calculating the energy performance of buildings in England and Wales. The notices take effect from 15 June 2022, although some exceptions will be made for building work started, or given notice of starting, before this date.
