Accounts Payable Assistant (Fixed-Term Contract)

Do you have experience of working in Accounts Payable? We are recruiting an Accounts Payable Assistant on a fixed term basis, initially until February 2025.

As an Accounts Payable Assistant, you will play a vital role within the team and be responsible for processing payments.

What you’ll be doing as an Accounts Payable Assistant:

  • Processing input into the accounts system including nominal receipts/payments, transfer requests & inter account transfers.
  • Processing invoice entries, reconciling supplier statements and preparing daily/weekly BACS.
  • Managing and resolving queries, both internally and externally.
  • Ensuring compliance within Accounts Payable functions.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience working within an Accounts Payable function.
  • PC literate with good knowledge of Outlook and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High levels of organisation and attention to detail.

Start date: Monday 9th December 2024

This role is offered on a fixed term contract basis, initially until the end of February 2025; however, there is a possibility this could be extended.
