Graphic Designer

We have an exciting opportunity for a Graphic Designer to work in a small, talented team and contribute to our exciting projects and campaigns.

Our marketing & communications need to stand out in the overcrowded typical law firm landscape. Our brand provides the platform for creative freedom, to step out of the mould and challenge what communications from a law firm should be. You’ll really help to propel the Walker Morris brand forward through effective & impactful creative.

You’ll be able to develop your skills in a supportive environment where you’re encouraged to share your ideas. You’ll be responsible for the design of a wide range of marketing communications, both internal and external. You’ll ensure all our communications are impactful and effective in response to internal briefs such as marketing collateral, social media and digital campaigns.

We offer hybrid working at Walker Morris, so you’ll be able to split your time between home and the office, with 2-3 days in the office per week.

What you’ll be doing as a Graphic Designer:

• Produce impactful graphics and branded materials for both print and digital including brochures, leaflets, adverts, events materials, social media content, website graphics, other internal assets etc.
• Manage artworking, proofing and production of printed materials.
• Work to briefs set by the wider marketing team, including events.
• Develop conceptual ideas for branding/advertising purposes.
• Assist with video filming and editing (no experience needed).
• Utilise and manage our other design software packages including Foleon and MARQ, responsible for design and approving other departments work. (no experience needed).
• Motion design/animation for video content.
• Work within brand guidelines and be a gatekeeper for them, monitoring design work being created across the business.
• Provide ad-hoc support to the bids team with capability statements and tender design, in Word, PowerPoint and InDesign.

What we are looking for:

• Qualification in art and/or graphic design would be advantageous.
• Experience of working in a marketing agency or in-house design role preferred but not essential, skills and experience will also be assessed based upon your portfolio.
• Excellent knowledge and experience of Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Good experience and knowledge of motion design/animation using Adobe After Effects
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office – experience of working within PowerPoint & Word to create impactful communications to clients.
