Our ‘I did that’ initiative wins LawTech of the year at the Yorkshire Legal Awards

We’re proud to announce that we‘ve been awarded the LawTech Initiative of the Year at the 25th annual Yorkshire Legal Awards. This award recognises our ‘I did that’ initiative, which has significantly transformed our legal service delivery and fostered a culture of innovation within our firm.

The Yorkshire Legal Awards, celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, brings together the region’s legal community to celebrate and recognise its many achievements.

Launched in December 2022, our ‘I did that’ initiative was designed to harness the collective knowledge and creativity of our colleagues. We encouraged our people to share their challenges and innovative legal tech discoveries to help us identify where we could boost our efficiency and service delivery. Our initiative has successfully introduced a range of new technologies, with plans to implement even more in the future.

James Staton, Chair of the judging panel, commented: “The standard was universally high, and the judges had a virtually impossible task to select the finalists for each category. Every firm and individual who was nominated should be proud. They all show the great depth of legal talent that there is in Yorkshire.”

Kevan Mahoney, our Head of Innovation and Legal Tech Delivery added: “We’re honoured to receive the LawTech Initiative of the Year award. This recognition highlights our commitment to innovation and demonstrates how our ‘I did that’ initiative has empowered our people to contribute ideas that enhance our client service.
