Walker Morris shortlisted for 12 Northern Powerhouse Awards

The Legal 500 Northern Powerhouse Awards recognise the lawyers, law firms and in-house legal departments setting the pace in the region, providing a platform to celebrate their achievements over the last 18 months.

The announcement has seen Walker Morris shortlisted for Corporate Law Firm of the Year, Finance Firm of the Year and Real Estate Firm of the Year. With Gwendoline Davies shortlisted as Dispute Resolution Lawyer of the Year and Ben Sheppard shortlisted as Projects Lawyer of the Year. Charlotte Smith (Employment), Olivia Prescott (Finance) and Christian Slinger (Sport) all also named in the Rising Star of the Year category.

Walker Morris has also been shortlisted in the Main Stage Awards including Law Firm of the Year, ESG Firm of the year, Diversity, Inclusion and Equality Law Firm of the Year and Marketing Team of the Year.

The shortlists and winners have been determined based on the Legal 500’s research for the annual UK solicitors guide. The awards mark the outstanding achievements across law firms and individuals in the region across 23 categories.

The winners are due to be announced at an awards ceremony on Thursday 2 March 2023 at The Kimpton Clocktower Hotel in Manchester.
