Walker Morris shortlisted for 17 Northern Powerhouse Awards

Walker Morris is delighted to announce that it has been shortlisted for 17 awards, including Law Firm of the Year, ESG Firm of the Year and Diversity and Inclusion Initiative of the Year at the Legal 500 Northern Powerhouse Awards 2024.
The awards recognise the array of legal talent across the North, North West and Yorkshire & the Humber. They celebrate the achievements over the past year and broadcast this success to the Legal 500’s national and international audience.
The announcement has seen Walker Morris shortlisted for the following awards:

- Corporate Firm of the Year
- Corporate Lawyer of the Year, Debbie Jackson
- Employment Firm of the Year
- Employment Rising Star of the Year, Charlotte Smith
- Finance Firm of the Year
- Finance Lawyer of the Year, Gawain Moore
- Finance Rising Star of the Year, Laura Lister
- Projects Lawyer of the Year, Ben Sheppard
- Projects Rising Star of the Year, Adam Bertram
- TMT Firm of the Year
- TMT Rising Star of the Year, Sarah Williams
- TMT Rising Star of the Year, Charlotte Smith
The awards are based on the Legal 500’s market-leading independent research for the annual directory. The winners are selected by a judging team spearheaded by the Legal 500 UK editor, Georgina Stanley, deputy editor Ben Wheway and head of in-house research Joe Boswell.
The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on 13 March 2024 at New Dock Hall in Leeds.
