Butcher

Holly is our early career’s advisor. She’s responsible for emerging talent recruitment, which includes hiring trainee solicitors, solicitor apprentices, and other business services apprentices. She provides support to the trainees during their 2-year training period. Holly finds her work very rewarding as she gets to see the trainees she recruited 2 years prior to becoming newly qualified solicitors within the firm.

Holly’s strengths are communication and problem-solving. The most challenging aspect of her role is managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. However, she approaches this by being proactive and staying ahead of sector trends. Holly thinks both short and long-term to ensure success, and prefers to bounce ideas off her colleagues.

Holly was new to the legal sector but has come to love the range of work that a career in the industry can offer, even from a business services perspective. She completed a Psychology degree before training as a primary school teacher. Holly then spent four years in Australia, initially working with children, before transitioning into the HR/Recruitment world. She’s CIPD Level 5 qualified and is part of the Reach and Recruit group and Sustainable Recruitment Alliance.
