Matt is an associate in our corporate team with more than seven years of legal experience. He primarily assists with M&A transactions, acting for both buyers and sellers on share and asset transactions. Matt works collaboratively with others in the corporate team, as well as other specialists at Walker Morris, to ensure he can deliver the best possible service to his clients.

From his experience of M&A transactions, as well as wider corporate advisory work, Matt has a proficient understanding of general corporate governance and share capital requirements for private companies, and is well placed to guide his clients through any of the corporate issues that frequently occur during the term of a transaction.

Matt finds the most rewarding part of his work is getting to know the businesses and the markets within which his clients operate. In turn, this helps him to understand and reach his clients’ objectives.

Matt enjoys having a good rapport with his clients and knowing that they feel like they can rely on him.
